We hide under a shell Under a cocoon Under a protective layer We are reluctant to show what we feel What we think What we scared of We act as if we are strong to face the world To face the society To face the criticisms But we are not, Why not just let people see the weak side of us? What’s wrong with that? Just part of our weakness Leave it on our face, let them see Let the people know what we feel, what our emotions like Stop hiding; don’t be scared of what others think of us Let people see our true colour It’s okay to let out our emotions out. Be an open book at times doesn’t mean letting
